Venture celebrates 10 years protecting homes and businesses
Andover-based security specialist, Venture Security, is celebrating 10 years in business, as it continues to expand its reach across Hampshire and throughout central southern England.
The company works with both corporate and residential clients, ranging from high net worth individuals, to SME’s, blue chip companies, local authorities and event organisers. Customers have included Southampton Football Club, Hampshire County Council, Sparsholt College, Aster Group and Valley Leisure.
Venture was founded in 2006 by Paul Howe and his wife Sara. Born and bred in Andover, Paul, a former event security manager, saw an opportunity to “do things better” and offer clients a more value-led service.
“We’ve come a long way in the last ten years, growing from just me, operating with two other colleagues, to employing in excess of 100 people,” explains Paul. “When we founded Venture, we did so with the aim of becoming a leader in the security field - not only by providing an excellent service and always delivering on our promises, but matching it with outstanding customer service.
“It’s been hard work - and operating a business which provides services 24hours a day, 365 days a year, presents some unique challenges – but it’s been very rewarding and we’re proud to say recommendations and repeat business have played a key role in our success.”
Venture recently moved to new larger offices based on Dene Road in Andover, having outgrown its previous premises. Listing mobile security services, such as key holding, alarm response and mobile patrols, among its most popular services, the company is ranked within the top 2% of security providers in the country by the Security Industry Association (SIA).
Paul added: “We’re really proud of what we have achieved in the last 10 years and as we enter the next stage in our development, we look forward to building on those solid foundations. We know we have the systems and processes in place to effectively scale up and become a multi-million pound business, and we definitely have the drive to make it happen.”
Customers, associates and staff, past and present, recently joined the team at a special event that was held to mark the anniversary.
