Get Christmas all wrapped up at the Alhambra

This Christmas, the Alhambra Shopping Centre in Barnsley is giving 8 lucky people the chance to win their Christmas shopping.

From 23rd November – 16th December, the Alhambra will be opening late two nights a week every Wednesday and Friday until 8pm. If you’re in the centre on one of these dates between 6pm – 8pm, you could be chosen to get your Christmas shopping paid for.

It marks the start of a variety of festive fun for all the family, including the return of the popular Santa’s Grotto with spectacular 4D sleigh ride experience, opening on 3rd December until Christmas Eve. Here, children can also write a letter to Santa and receive a personalised reply. Entry is just £3 with all proceeds going to the Barnsley Hospice.

Steph Higham, Alhambra Marketing Manager said: “We are so excited for Christmas this year. We’ve just switched on our new Christmas Light’s which had a brilliant response and we can’t wait to surprise 8 lucky shoppers in the centre and pay for their Christmas shopping.

We’re also excited to bring back our Christmas Grotto where boys and girls can meet Santa and write him a wish list to take back to the North Pole.“
