Crêperie opens in Newcastle Grey’s Quarter creating 18 jobs
National crêperie Crepeaffaire has expanded to the North East, opening its latest store at intu Eldon Square shopping centre in Newcastle city centre.
Part of the city’s regenerated Grey Quarter development, which has attracted a plethora of national food chains, the company has recruited 18 employees to run its latest eatery.
The business, which opened its first shop in 2004, offers freshly baked savoury and sweet crêpes, and is currently extending its menu to include gluten-free galettes.
Also selling mini pancakes, fair-trade organic coffee, fresh juices & shakes, the business has taken space at the lower level of the Quarter.
Daniel Spinath, Founder and MD of Crepeaffaire, said: “This latest store opening is really exciting for us as it marks another milestone in our growth outside London.
“We are delighted to provide Newcastle with a delicious selection of savoury and sweet crêpes, waffles, fair-trade organic coffees, juices and other delicacies.
“From breakfast to dinner, and all moments in between, Crepeaffaire fulfils any appetite, to eat in or out.”
