In Touch Networks wins North West Fast 50
Networking solutions company, In Touch Networks is the fastest growing technology business in the North West, according to Deloitte’s Fast 50 2016 UK Technology Fast 50.
The awards, now in their nineteenth year, recognise and rank the 50 fastest growing technology companies in the UK, based on the last four years of revenue growth.
Manchester-headquartered In Touch Networks, which leverages technology to improve the process of hiring non-executive directors, consultants and finance directors, experienced 454% growth over the last four years, resulting in it ranking 39th overall. The other North West business on the list, Cloud Technology Solutions, a leading provider of Google Cloud solutions, placed 42nd following growth of 412%.
Matthew Roberts, CEO of In Touch Networks, said: “Companies looking to hire non-execs have typically faced prohibitively expensive recruitment fees, especially if they’re small and medium-sized business. We list thousands of available roles for free and employers are free to contact our thousands of members.
“The US is an extremely promising market and we now have three full time people at our New York office. By 2020 25% of Americans are expected to be self-employed. They will therefore be looking for guidance on how to set up an organisation, set up email accounts and have access to the best opportunities – that is the space we want to be in.”
Jodi Birkett, TMT partner at Deloitte in the North West said: “The high growth rates achieved by our Fast 50 winners shows that the UK technology scene is in rude health.
“In Touch Networks is disrupting the market when it comes to recruitment through the use of market-leading technology platforms, hence its impressive growth. Just two years ago they had 200 members and this has grown to 26,000 this year. The opportunities identified overseas will no doubt see the company build on its current successes.”
Overall, the 50 fastest growing technology companies in the UK generated £884 million in total annual revenues in the year 2015/16 and employed more than 7,100 people.
