Online mortgage lender sets up Northern England base in Manchester
London-headquartered LendInvest, the online mortgage lender, has launched its expansion into Northern England with the appointment of its first Business Development Manager for the region.
Damien Druce, who will be based in Greater Manchester, will be tasked with sourcing deals, including bridging and development loan opportunities, across the North from Staffordshire up to the Scottish Borders.
The new BDM will focus on deals within Greater Manchester, Merseyside and Yorkshire, and marks a continuation of LendInvest’s nationwide expansion following the launch of its Scottish business four months ago.
Damien joins the lender from from Castle Trust where he was National Development Manager, having previously held roles at Crystal Specialist Finance and served as a councillor for Cheshire East Borough Council until 2015.
Commenting on his new role, Druce said: “I am delighted to be joining LendInvest at such an exciting time for the company.
“As confidence returns and some of the clouds of Brexit uncertainty clear, it is clear that there is a demand for fast and flexible bridging and development finance in the northern counties.”
Matthew Tooth, Chief Commercial Officer at LendInvest, added: “Damien is well known among mortgage brokers in the north of England, making him a fantastic addition to our team who can hit the ground running.
“Local expertise is critical for a regional BDM, and we are confident that Damien is the man to spearhead our increased profile in the north.”
