Building control surveying firm Salus expands to Gateshead
Building control surveying company Salus Approved Inspectors is creating a new team and office in Gateshead, as part of its Northern expansion strategy.
The firm, which delivers compliant building regulations advice, currently has offices in Catterick and Birkenhead.
Stuart Power, Director, explained: “Adding to our team of nationwide experts with the opening in Gateshead is an exciting move, strengthening our position in the North East.
“The number of competent and experienced building control surveyors is falling and it is really important to stress the need to bridge the skills gap and alarming number of untrained professionals entering the industry.
“Salus invest heavily in employing and training the best and will continue to. With over a thousand years of combined professional knowledge, and a passion for delivering a jargon free, transparent service the company mantra is “building compliance without complexity.
Managing Associate Steve Miller, who is heading up the North East office, commented: “The opening of Salus in Maingate, Gateshead, gives us the opportunity to offer our coherent, specialist advice within easy reach of some of the North’s most exciting projects.
“As the transport links improve, we will continue recruiting new talent across all offices.”
