ThreatConnect adds ArcSight ESM integration to its platform
In an effort to help organisations build stronger processes, identify the most relevant threats, proactively protect their networks, and quickly respond to incidents, ThreatConnect, provider of the leading intelligence-driven defence platform, has integrated with HPE Security’s ArcSight Enterprise Security Management (ESM)™. With this integration, users are able to aggregate their internal logs and combine them with validated threats.
The ArcSight ESM and ThreatConnect bi-directional integration records how often indicators are seen in a network, providing insight into the relevance of an organisation’s sources. It allows users to:
Send ThreatConnect multi-sourced and validated data to ArcSight ESM for monitoring and event triage Send observations, false positives, indicators, incidents, and tasks from ArcSight ESM to ThreatConnect automatically or selectively Send internally generated threat intelligence quickly to security infrastructure for alerting and blocking
Adam Vincent, ThreatConnect CEO said, “From day one we built the ThreatConnect platform to allow clients and partners to build and run applications and integrations that are important to their unique defensive strategy. This ArcSight integration provides the necessary context for our mutual customers who need to easily spot abnormalities and act on them efficiently from the intelligence in our platform.”
ThreatConnect easily integrates with an organisation’s existing security products to make them more effective. Users are able to take advantage of multi-sourced data within the ThreatConnect platform to push threat indicators and context back out to partner-integrated products. And with TC Exchange, a revolutionary new community, users are able to search, build, and submit custom-designed intelligence applications.
