DSN are Boycotting Christmas (Cards!)
With the festive season now upon us, local charity Deafness Support Network (DSN) are looking forward to the big day with their first ever Christmas Card Boycott.
With the aim of reducing the pile of unopened Christmas cards that lurk on the desks of office workers around the region, DSN are encouraging local businesses, schools and community groups to boycott Christmas Cards all together, whilst at the same time supporting a worthwhile cause.
DSN Fundraising Manager, Rhys, comments; “We all know how time consuming it can be to write individual Christmas Cards for colleagues and friends, and this year, DSN want to help reduce this festive-induced stress!”
“We’re simply asking for companies and groups to sign up to our Christmas Card Boycott and to donate any money that would be spent on Christmas Cards to DSN, supporting our important work within the community.”
“Everyone who signs up will be sent a collection tub and poster which can be hung up and then personalised with Christmas messages to one another. We think it’s the perfect way to spread the joys of the festive season!”
