TeleWare’s recording products installed in BT Innovation Showcase
TeleWare’s mobile and face-to-face recording products installed in the BT Innovation Showcase
TeleWare has again demonstrated its commitment to innovation and the strength of its philosophy of working with other industry leaders as its products have been installed in the BT Innovation Showcase in Adastral Park, Ipswich.
TeleWare has installed two products, mobile voice & SMS recording and face-to-face recording, into the centre’s Agile Bank area. Agile Bank brings to life technologies that can be used within the branch, as well as behind the scenes in contact centres or trading environments. Mobile voice & SMS recording was developed specifically for financial services organisations to meet increased employee demand for agile working whilst maintaining regulatory compliance. The solution, which is SIM based and compatible with all types of mobile handsets, allows all communications to be recorded wherever workers are. The recordings are then stored securely in the TeleWare cloud for retrieval and replay.
TeleWare’s new face-to-face recording has been designed for Independent Financial Advisors (IFAs). Due to the impending implementation of MiFID II, IFAs will find themselves subject to the same requirements to record client contact as other financial services organisations. Face-to-face recording allows an advisor to begin recording from a mobile device at the start of a meeting and then upload the recording onto the cloud for encrypted and safe storage immediately after.
Adastral Park is BT’s global engineering HQ and is the focal point of BT research and development initiatives. Through 2014/2015 it hosted 1,100 VIP customers, civil servants and policymakers at 200 events. It is the largest test and integration facility in Europe. The centre is divided into Agile Bank, Doing Good Business, The Connected Home, The Government and the Community, The Street and Customer Innovation and Design. Potential and existing BT customers are invited to the showcase to view not only the areas that are relevant to them, but also explore live demonstrations of the end-to-end capabilities that BT and its global partners provide. This provides visitors with the opportunity to experience and potentially adopt technologies that they would not have necessarily found in the ordinary course of their business.
Paul Millar, Chief Innovation Officer, TeleWare said, “We’ve maintained a longstanding relationship with BT and we’re very pleased to be including our products in their prestigious showcase. We can talk about our products all day but there’s no substitute for being able to give potential clients hands-on experience. Our installation is extremely simple – it’s just a mobile phone with our products installed on it. This drives home the usability and ease of using TeleWare products to remain compliant.”
Steve Haworth, CEO TeleWare said, “TeleWare has always had a philosophy of innovation and pushing boundaries. We work with some of the largest and most dynamic tech companies in the world, from BT to Microsoft and we’re always finding ways to demonstrate the power of our R&D. Differentiation and collaboration means that we can work with a range of partners to ensure that we both bring something to the table and therefore benefit each other, as well as our end users.”
TeleWare’s mobile and face-to-face recording was installed in the BT Innovation Showcase on Friday 14th October.
