VERASTAR Secures Megabuyte50 Recognition with Stellar 2017 Performance

VERASTAR, the UK’s leader in providing essential telecoms, gas, electricity and water services to small businesses, has been crowned Best Telecoms & Networks Provider’ by prestigious independent thinktank MegaBuyte at its 2016 awards.

MegaBuyte scores the financial and business success of more than 200 UK-based, privately-owned software, IT and telecoms services companies. Thriving Manchester-based firm VERASTAR came out top in the Best Performing Company category.

The award caps an incredible year which has included six acquisitions – Ovo Energy, The Insurance Octopus, The Media Octopus, Crown Telecom Solutions, Business Comms Solution and the customer base of 3D Telecom. VERASTAR now supplies utility services to almost 10% of the UK’s small businesses.

In November, the firm also announced that they will be creating 150 new jobs across their UK-wide operation, including roles in Manchester, Hamilton and Bristol.

Founded in 1998, VERASTAR has achieved impressive organic growth in the communications market which has been supplemented by a broad product portfolio including water, insurance, electricity and gas.
