Boutique cast-iron radiator brand opens second showroom in London
Family-run radiator manufacturers, Castrads, has opened its second showroom in the capital on Fulham Road.
The Manchester-based company, which specialises in custom-made, cast iron radiators, has taken a two floor showroom at 247 Fulham Road to complement its Wimbledon Village property.
Located within the Sloane Stanley Estate, the 1,292 sq ft showroom will show off the brand’s range of traditional radiators, crafted by hand by its engineers in its manufacturing site in Manchester, where it has been operating since 2006.
Commenting on the new showroom, Nick Baylis of Castrads said: “Opening a new store on the iconic Fulham Road is a major milestone for Castrads. It feels great to finally welcome the public through our doors, to start trading and be part of the neighbourhood’s burgeoning interior design and lifestyle scene.”
Hannah Grievson, Commercial Property Manager at Sloane Stanley said that the new tenant was a good fit amongst the other ‘premium’ retailers in the area.
She added: “Securing Castrads to join our retail line-up is a fantastic win for us. Their emphasis on quality and premium design complements other retailers in the neighbourhood and will have strong appeal with our local residents and design-conscious shoppers who are attracted to the area.”
