Property agents appointed to £5m North Yorkshire residential scheme
A £5m residential scheme at Hunsingore, located between Knaresborough and Wetherby, will be launched to the market by Croft Residential and Carter Jonas.
The village development, which features ten new homes, are currently under construction by housebuilder Loxley Homes.
Known as Meadowside, the new scheme will include three and five-bedroom properties ranging in price from £325k for a three-bedroom, semi-detached home to £625k for a five-bedroom, detached house with garage.
Toby Cockcroft, Croft Residential director, said: “We’re already seeing a great deal of interest in this development and that’s not surprising given the genuine shortage of quality, affordable homes for families in Hunsingore – and in many other village communities in the area.”
Anne Haggas, Carter Jonas’ northern head of new homes, added: “When it’s completed, in summer next year, Meadowside will be a really lovely development in a great location.
“There are good schools and other facilities nearby, the houses look out onto open countryside and the village is really well situated for commuting as it’s just four miles from Wetherby and the A1(M).”
The new houses are being built on a brownfield site in the village that formerly housed the Goughs of Hunsingore farm machinery dealership.
They have been designed by Leeds and Harrogate-based Aspect Architecture and each will have its own block paved driveway and back garden planted with trees and shrubs.
Loxley Homes is part of the Leeds-based Prospect Property Group.
