Spreadshirt’s New Partner Area to Revolutionise International Selling
New Spreadshirt technology improves product creation
Spreadshirt is the ecommerce platform for spreading ideas on something tangible. Today it has launched a new Partner Area, designed to automate international selling and allow multiple product creation for the platform’s more than 70,000 partners worldwide.
The Partner Area is the command centre where Spreadshirt partners manage their ideas, products and shops. They already benefit from access to three different models on one platform: selling via marketplaces, via white-label shops, and via the create-your-own technology. Spreadshirt is the only company to offer this model.
The new Partner Area means partners can easily sell into new markets via impressive features like international publishing, multi-product creation and marketing tips. From today, designs that were previously only published on a partner’s home marketplace will now be automatically assessed, translated, and published on Spreadshirt’s 14 other European marketplaces. This will increase the design range for customers and revenue for partners.
“The new Partner Area is the heart of Spreadshirt because our partners and their ideas are the foundations of our platform.” says Philip Rooke, CEO at Spreadshirt. “With this launch, we are one significant step closer to our ultimate goal of enabling partners to publish everything everywhere in 60 seconds.”
Guido Laures, CTO, adds “The new Partner Area is a revolution in our technology. What you see on the surface is only a small part of the work that has gone into restructuring the core areas of the platform that will be celebrating its 15th anniversary next year. It has been a company-wide effort with multiple teams working to make both the front and back-end components work smoothly together. The agile technology we have developed means that our offering will only improve with new iterations. And we still have a lot more planned ahead!”
Notable improvements to the Partner Area include:
- Rapid onboarding of new partners and easy shop creation
- Multi-product creation – ability to create up to 40 products at once
- Easy adjustment to assortment changes
- New inventory management system – now virtual, scaleable and very flexible
- Automatic access to international marketplaces
- New layout and intuitive use
The Partner Area also builds on the momentum already achieved by the launch of the company’s Partner App in October.
