Leeds marketing agency reveals international growth plans following £50k investment
A Leeds-based marketing agency has revealed the results of an investment of more than £50,000, which includes a full rebrand, 50% growth of its team and a number of new client wins.
The Individual Agency, based at Blayd’s Yard in Leeds city centre, used the investment to launch a new website and logo which was carried out in-house by The Individual Agency’s design and digital team.
The rebrand also marks the beginning of the agency’s growth strategy for 2017, including plans to open a Singapore office to service it’s arm of international clients and plans to open a specific packaging division to offer a bespoke packaging service to clients in the retail sector.
The agency, which turns over £500k and forecasts 20% year on year growth for 2017, has also appointed four members of staff in the past six months, including an international marketing manager, two new studio designers, and a marketing assistant to bolster the existing design and client services team.
Over the past 12 months, The Individual Agency has also been appointed by a wide range of UK and international clients, including; US-based Baker Ruskinn which manufactures medical research equipment; Bangkok-based Rockworth, which is a manufacturer and distributor of office furniture and Hong Kong-based LF Europe & LF Americas, which designs, develops and sources consumer goods.
Headed up by managing director, Michelle Edgar-Parsons, The Individual Agency services clients across a range of sectors in both consumer and B2B markets, including Perspex and Thomas Crapper.
Michelle said: “We’re operating in an incredibly competitive market so to be enjoying such significant growth over the past 12 months and to be planning international expansion and new divisions for 2017 makes me incredibly proud.
“The credit for all of this goes to the team we have here, it’s one thing to appoint somebody to fill a job role but it’s another to get the right person who really truly believes in the ethos of what the agency stands for – I’m very lucky to have an incredibly talented and dedicated team who work hard to get amazing results.
“Our client turnover has always been very low because, to put it bluntly, we get results. We often work in-house with our clients, which enables us to gain a thorough understanding of them.
“You can only give honest advice that’s going to get the desired results, if you’re speaking from experience.
“I’m looking forward to seeing further growth in 2017 and planning how we’ll build on this for our 10 year anniversary in 2018.”
