TIBCO Named Strong Performer in Insight Platform Report

TIBCO has announced it has been named as a strong performer in The Forrester Wave: Enterprise Insight Platform Suites, Q4 2016 report by Forrester Research. Forrester cited TIBCO for its “good customer reference ratings relative to other participants, especially in areas like insight execution, analytics tools, and runtime components.” The research firm noted that businesses looking to build real-time systems of insight should consider TIBCO.

According to Forrester, “TIBCO focuses on real-time insight execution coupled with leading streaming and agile BI components. Their platform features deep integration between streaming, visual, and predictive analytics that will only get better next year. Furthermore, its open-source, fast-insights framework can help developers rapidly build solutions. TIBCO’s OEM of Attivio provides excellent data lake, governance, and search tools as well.”

Announced last month, the TIBCO Insight Platform helps businesses turn analytical insights into action, especially as they introduce IoT connected devices, which emit massive volumes of new, streaming data. For example, the Insight Platform can help analyse sensor data from IoT connected devices to find patterns that predict device failure to perform predictive maintenance, or monitor location information from connected vehicles to act on opportunities for route optimisation. The Insight Platform enables users to build closed-loop systems of insight with visual, predictive, and streaming analytics. Businesses of all sizes and industries can benefit from interconnecting their tools with smart applications to automate actions and make intelligent decisions accordingly.

This solution works together with StreamBase, a platform for building and deploying applications that monitor and act on real-time data. TERR is embedded in Spotfire and StreamBase to deliver built-in enterprise-grade predictive analytics, allowing customers to develop in open-source R, integrate, and deploy on a platform, all without needing to write their own code.
