Baby steps for Tinies in Devon & Cornwall

It’s a new era for childcare agency Tinies as they welcome Becky Hold to the team as the proud new owner of the first Tinies Devon & Cornwall branch. The company, that finds nursery managers, Early Years practitioners, nursery staff and nannies for parents and businesses all over the UK, has grown exponentially since launching in 2010.

Having previously worked as a nanny for Tinies when she was 18 years old, Becky then took a break from the industry to work in banking and for the local council, and has now made the decision to return to the childcare world.

Alongside the new franchise in Devon & Cornwall, Becky has played an important role in starting up a holiday club at Plymouth College Prep School for young children. Starting in the Christmas holidays, parents can drop their children off for the day safe in the knowledge that they’re being looked after and kept active whilst on the school break. Activities include; arts & crafts, cooking, a playground area and sports activities.

Becky says: “After being involved in the childcare industry for many years I couldn’t wait to launch the new Tinies franchise in Devon & Cornwall. I’ve known the company really well having previously worked as a nanny for them, so myself and the team are thrilled to start work in this new area. We’ve already seen a lot of demand for nursery places, nannies and babysitters, and we have our first mobile crèche booking for a wedding in December. We hope to also keep local children busy and active at the new holiday club in Plymouth College – it’s going to be a busy Christmas!”
