Collingwood Business Solutions partners with Winn Solicitors
North Shields insurance broker Collingwood Business Solutions Ltd has partnered with Newcastle law firm Winn Solicitors to bolster its claims management service.
The collaboration will see Winns become the first point of contact for customers logging new claims, backed by Collingwood’s technical claims management team based in North Shields.
Collingwood, which currently employs 180 staff, has announced it will launch several new products next year and sees the partnership with Winns form part of its expansion strategy.
Steve Welton, Collingwood CEO, explained the reasoning behind the link up.
He said: “It’s an exciting time for the company as we continue to grow and we are thrilled to have appointed Winns as our first notification of loss team to further strengthen our plans for expansion.
“Winns has a sound track record in providing an efficient, first class accident management service to its customers, with excellent customer service and efficient operations and procedures in mind at all times.
“The firm’s core values and beliefs are parallel to that of Collingwood’s, and I’m confident for a positive future from the partnership.”
Chris Birkett, Sales Director at Winns, added: “This is a significant account for Winns and is testament to the service we have provided to the insurance sector and their clients following a road traffic accident.
“To be recognised by Collingwood and chosen to operate their first notification of loss is no small feat and a huge achievement.”
