The Leather Satchel Co. to launch Winter pop-up store at Albert Dock
Liverpool bag brand The Leather Satchel Co. has revealed plans to open a pop-up store at the Albert Dock.
Launching in time for Christmas, the shop will be located within the Grade I-listed Britannia Pavilion and stock the firm’s range of leather satchels, bags and accessories.
Customers will also be able to have their bags personalised with monograms, with options including gold and silver leaf, pressed leather and Indian ink.
The Leather Satchel Co.’s managing director, Keith Hanshaw, said: “We want to give shoppers in Liverpool a taste of what we offer, and Albert Dock is the perfect place from which to do so.
“Its rich culture and historic beauty rings well with the values of our company and we’re excited by the opportunity it’s giving us throughout the next few weeks.”
For Albert Dock, the pop-up forms part of a long-term vision for the leisure hub as it increasingly looks to provide a platform for visitors to engage with brands from the city and further afield.
Aberdeen Asset Management, the developer behind the Albert Dock, plans to add to the site’s existing roster of local and national restaurant brands with “evolving retail and food locations”.
Richard Wilson, asset manager at Aberdeen, commented: “Albert Dock is rightly an appealing prospect for businesses.
“Hosting The Leather Satchel Co.’s pop-up shop is the beginning of what is going to be an exciting period for all those involved with Albert Dock and the surrounding areas.”
He continued: “It’s a fantastic place to visit, and attracts more than six million visitors a year. Our aim is not only to continue to provide those visitors with a top food and retail offering, but make it even better in the months and years to come.”
