Tottenham Hotspur Stadium Update: North East corner terraces begin to take shape
Work on Tottenham Hotspur’s new stadium continues apace with terrace sections now slowly rising out of the ground.
New images released by the Premier League club show the terrace sections rising to level two at the new North East corner, with terrace finishing soon to be applied as the new stadium begins to take shape.
According to Spurs there are now 500 precast units on the site which will form the terracing that the seats will sit on, giving fans a better impression of how the ground will look once completed.
Tottenham Hotspur hope to move into their new 61,000 seater stadium in time for the 2018/19 season, with the club scheduled to play their home games at Wembley next season while their current White Hart Lane home is demolished.
The £400m stadium is also set to unlock significant regeneration in the area, and last week the club’s new ticket office and administrative property, The Paxton Building, was granted planning permission by Haringey Council.
