Flip Out Chatham unveils new year activities

Kent’s newest trampoline park has unveiled its new year programme of activities with something for all the family to enjoy while helping improve their fitness.

Flip Out Chatham, the £1m trampoline park at Dockside was opened in November by the Sports Minister and Kent MP Tracey Crouch and recently experienced record visitor numbers welcoming more than 400 flippers in just one day.

Starting in January, Flip Out Chatham is running six-week Little Ninja courses suitable for children from age 5 through to the over 12s, with three courses for different age groups.

Also new for 2017 are Flip Fit classes aimed at getting adults fit through trampolining, Mini-Flipper sessions for under 5s where mum or dad jump for free and also After-Dark sessions offering a two-hour nightclub experience complete with a live DJ.

Lydon Smith, general manager, Flip Out Chatham said:

“Following the Christmas excess Flip Out Chatham has planned a number of new activities to give people of all ages a fun way to get fit, without being tied into a gym membership.

“Trampolining is a great way to get fit, with jumping for 20 minutes bringing the same health benefits as running for an hour!

“Best of all, budding bouncers can pay as they go to get fit and do as much or as little as they want.

“We’ve already held some taster sessions and the feedback has been really encouraging so we’re rolling the programme of events out across the first week of January.”

Autism and disability friendly sessions are also starting from January 10th, allowing people to jump in a controlled, safe environment with appropriate sound and lighting, plus one carer per person jumps for free.
