Dr Razvan Savu and Tracey Bell modernise dentistry

The Tracey Bell clinics are well known for providing advanced dental techniques and technologies for patients in the Isle of Man. Now one of their dentists, Razvan Savu, is proud to be offering treatments such as digital planning, CT scanning, sinus lifts and bone grafts which were previously not available on the island, meaning people had to travel off the island, to his patients.

Razvan said: “I think I have one of the best jobs in the world. I am a smile creator! I graduated in Timisoara, Romania, in 2001and have a special interest in Endodontics, and even now after 15 years of working as a dentist, I still do it with a lot of love and passion. This year is my 10th year of practicing dentistry under the microscope, which is a different world, also named ‘the world of magnification.’ Microscope or loupes are powerful tools that help the dentist to see what normally no person can see with the naked eye.

“In 2009 I started to restore implants. Together with a great team of French implantologists and after several years of training in Prosthodontics and Occlusion, I achieved the level of ‘full mouth reconstruction,’ the most complicated procedure in dentistry. I then started to train in aesthetic digital smile design to create the best results for my patients.”

Razvan says that moving to the Isle of Man in 2014 has been a highlight of his personal and professional life, and that it’s been an honour to offer his services to local residents through the Tracey Bell clinic from Monday to Wednesday.

Amongst other procedures, Razvan is able to offer dental implants using the gold standard of dental techniques and using Straumann implants, which are widely regarded as being the best in the world. Also, thanks to the Tracey Bell Clinic’s advanced digital technology, he can offer the least invasive surgical technique available, ‘flapless implantology.’

By offering treatments such as digital planning, CT scanning, sinus lifts and bone grafts using the best available technology, Tracey Bell is keen to ensure that residents of the Isle of Man don’t have to leave the island to receive the most suitable treatment for them.
