Manchester family law firm moves to new premises after 'rapid growth' in clients
Hall Brown, the Manchester-based family law firm, has upsized to new premises in the heart of the city’s business district less than a year after it began operating.
The law firm, which is headed up by founding partners Sam Hall and James Brown, has moved into its new headquarters at the Grade II-listed Ship Canal House on King Street, which Hall Brown said is six-times larger than its previous home.
Following the move, Hall commented: “We believe that our new offices not only match our firm’s ambitions but will enable us to better serve the clients who have been responsible for our remarkable first nine months in business.”
Since it was established last April, the firm has enjoyed ‘rapid growth’ in the number of clients, and has grown its headcount to 17, including family lawyers Beth Wilkins and Andrew Newbury.
While over half of Hall Brown’s current clients hail from the North West, the law firm has also been attracting clients from further afield, with 25% based in London and the South East along with similar figures for those based across the rest of England, Wales or overseas.
Speaking about the sort of clients the practice has been able to attract, Hall said that the firm had already dealt with a range of sensitive matters for celebrities, high-profile sports stars, entrepreneurs and professionals.
“We believe that Hall Brown Family Law has already made its mark in a very short space of time,” said Hall. “The foundations which we have put in place and the talent at our disposal has allowed us to compete with much longer established firms.
“It means that we undoubtedly have a bright future ahead – both as we look to celebrate our first anniversary in business in just a few months and much further beyond.”
