Former industrial site in Doncaster set for new homes development
A former industrial site in Finningley, near Doncaster, is set to be transformed into a residential development.
Industrial property owners In-site Property Solutions sold the three-acre site to Bellway Homes Limited.
The move follows In-site’s outline planning application to Doncaster Council for 44 residential dwellings, 10% of which will be affordable homes.
Alex Boyle, managing director of In-site, said: “We are delighted to have been granted residential planning permission for the site.
“The funds secured will be added to our existing capital which is allocated to acquire further industrial sites and properties with value added or high income potential.”
Langleys Solicitors acted on behalf of In-site on the sale of the land.
Tim Cross, head of commercial property at Langleys, added: “This is a great result for In-site who were confident in the site’s potential for residential development having initially bought the land unconditionally.”
In-site Property Solutions, based in Bramham, West Yorkshire, owns multi-let industrial and other commercial property sites across the north of England and the central belt of Scotland, which they manage in-house.
