The Whiteley Clinic rated oustanding by CQC
England’s Chief Inspector of Hospitals has rated The Whiteley Clinic Limited in Guildford, Surrey as Outstanding, following a comprehensive inspection by the Care Quality Commission.
The Whiteley Clinic is a private medical facility specialising in the treatment of varicose veins and other venous conditions, like thread veins, leg ulcers and phlebitis.
Their own continued research, audited results, inventions and new technologies used in varicose veins treatment have led to the development of The Whiteley Protocol®, a standard of excellence for the diagnosis and treatment of varicose veins.
The clinic was rated Outstanding for being responsive to people’s needs and well-led. It was rated Good for being safe and caring, during the inspection which took place in September 2016.
CQC inspectors visited the The Whiteley Clinic Limited as part of its planned inspection programme. The Whiteley Clinic is a private medical facility specialising in the treatment of varicose veins and other venous conditions.
CQC’s Head of Hospital Inspection for the South East, Alan Thorne, said: “The Whiteley Clinic must be congratulated for the consistently high quality care and treatment it provides. Our inspectors found high levels of care, delivered by professional, specialist staff who delivered care in an extremely dedicated and caring manner and who were proud to work there. The culture at the clinic was very open and transparent, patients were kept fully involved in their treatment and were involved in all areas of in decision making.
The executive director and senior management team were very visible and shared their vision and values with the whole team, including an evident commitment to improve the quality of care provided. There was also a tangible level of staff working together in pursuit of excellent care.“
