Millie joins Ashford training provider’s growing team

A Kent-based provider of health and intervention training for children and young people has expanded its team.

The Training Effect (TTE), located in Ashford, has appointed Millie Stockwell as Project Support Officer.

Millie will support the delivery of TTE’s new project, Head-First, an innovative emotional health and wellbeing programme which will be delivered to primary and secondary school pupils in the London boroughs of Lambeth and Southwark.

As part of her new role, Millie will be responsible for co-ordinating the surveys for the Head-First project. The surveys are vital to assess which pupils need additional support and determine which aspects of their emotional health and wellbeing should be focused on.

In addition, she will take responsibility for organising TTE events, developing partnerships with schools TTE works with, and helping to deliver bespoke support to each school involved in the Head-First programme.

Speaking about her appointment, Mille said: “I have a personal interest in mental health and wellbeing, so I am delighted to be part of TTE’s team. I’m looking forward to working in areas that I’m passionate about, such as risk-taking behaviours, families with complex needs, mental and emotional health, and poverty.”

Mark Bowles, Director of TTE, said: “Millie is a great addition to our team; she is enthusiastic, organised and passionate about reducing the stigma of mental health issues. We are delighted to welcome her to The Training Effect and I look forward to working with her to deliver our innovative new Head-First programme.”

Millie is the latest appointment to TTE’s growing team. The company has a diverse range of consultants with expertise across a wide range of disciplines, including the fields of substance misuse, mental and emotional health, school improvement and PSHE.
