Liverpool ticketing agency TicketQuarter nabs ‘high profile’ musical event contracts
Ticketing agency TicketQuarter is celebrating after landing a series of musical event contracts in Liverpool.
The firm has been named primary ticketing partner for The British Music Experience – the permanent pop music exhibition opening in the city’s historic Cunard Building in March.
TicketQuarter is also now the official ticketing partner for Hangar 34, a warehouse venue located in the Baltic Triangle area.
Similar agreements were secured for a one-off show celebrating the 50th anniversary of The Velvet Underground & Nico album and with the Liverpool Olympia, which has been a prominent venue in the city for over 70 years.
TicketQuarter head Henry Brown said: “We are pleased to confirm the ticketing for a selection of high profile musical events in the city.
“For Liverpool to be chosen as the only European destination to perform the Velvet Underground’s massively influential album is a huge coup and for us to be one of the partners selling the tickets is a great opportunity.
He continued: “Similarly, The British Music Experience will be an iconic attraction and one TicketQuarter is proud to partner.
Brown added: “These latest wins show that we have built up a strong reputation in the entertainment market and can take care of all ticketing requirements for our clients.”
TicketQuarter is part of The ACC Liverpool Group, which encompasses the BT Convention Centre, Echo Arena and Exhibition Centre Liverpool venues on the city’s waterfront.
The company provides support for event promoters and venues such as online ticketing, contact centre services, account management, marketing support and customer service support.
Judith Owens, director of operations and deputy chief exec of The British Music Experience, commented: “We look forward to working closely with our ticketing partner TicketQuarter and have complete confidence that the team will deliver our requirements.”
