Startup pioneering world’s first amino acid enriched spring water launches six-figure crowdfund
London’s Rejuvenation Water, which last year launched the world’s first amino acid enriched spring water, has launched a crowdfunding campaign on Crowdcube to fund further innovation and expansion at the business.
The Vauxhall-based firm is looking to raise £150k on the platform as it targets expansion across the UK and overseas, and is offering backers rewards include a trip to Valencia to entice potential investors.
Following its big launch in Spring last year, the brand’s range of spring waters are currently listed with over 150 retailers, including Holland & Barrett, with another major UK retailer set to confirm imminently.
Founder Kris Ingham has been developing the concept of amino acid health waters for over ten years, which give people an easily obtained source of amino acids, the building blocks of protein which can help to rebuild muscle, combat fatigue and increase mental alertness.
Following the launch of the crowdfund, Ingham said: “2016 was a whirlwind year for the Rejuvenation Water team, having opened up over 150 retail listings and, recently being awarded a Great Taste Award, has been the icing on the no-added-sugar cake. We are delighted to offer the chance for UK public to invest in our adventure.”
