Alliance Manchester Business School named among world’s elite
Alliance Manchester Business School (Alliance MBS) has been named among the world’s elite schools in terms of employability and research.
University ranking body Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), in its latest QS Global 250 Business Schools Report, ranked Alliance MBS 11th in Europe in terms of research excellence and 16th for employability.
The 2017 report, one of the biggest Master of Business Administration (MBA) surveys ever carried out by QS, collected the opinions of over 12k MBA employers and nearly 77k academics from 36 countries.
The survey lists the world’s top 250 full-time MBA programmes.
The head of Alliance MBS, Prof. Fiona Devine, said: “The QS ranking and analysis are incredibly well-respected, so to be named in the global elite is a fantastic recognition for our staff and students at Alliance Manchester Business School.
“Business education is constantly evolving, so our continued success is testament to our visionary academics and leading edge courses which keep us in such high standing globally.”
She added: “This year is already shaping up to be a particularly eventful and momentous 12 months in the world of business, and we’re looking forward to keeping to our core aim of inspiring the business leaders and managers of tomorrow.”
In May last year, Alliance MBS teamed up with Renmin University of China’s School of Business to launch a joint-MBA programme leading to degrees from both institutions.
During the same month, researchers from the school partnered up with two other North West universities to form a new organisation to support the region’s economic success overseas.
Alliance MBS is part of the University of Manchester.
