New Contracts for the New Year
Applebridge Construction has had a fantastic start to 2017 by successfully securing two new contracts in Whitby and Wakefield.
The Groundwork’s and Civil Engineering Company will be working on the new housing development at High Stakesby in Whitby alongside Kier Living. Applebridge will be providing the Roads and Sewers package in connection with 190 plots at the new housing development alongside the cut and fill and some highways works. The contract commenced in the second week of January and will be complete over the course of 12 months.
The new development will include a mix of 2, 3 and 4 bedroom 2 storey houses and bungalows. The 16 acre site will include a range of energy efficient, sustainable homes, for sale, rent and shared ownership as part of Scarborough Borough Councils plans to build more “affordable” housing in the North Yorkshire area.
The Roads and Sewers package in connection with 91 plots at the new Snow Hill Development in Wakefield has also been secured working alongside Strata Homes. The scope of works will include drainage, sewerage connections, and an attenuation tank located the middle of the site. The contract will commence in the third week of January and will be complete over the course of 20 weeks.
