The Ashbank Laundry Centre, based on Teesside Industrial Estate, is undergoing substantial business growth, doubling its turnover to £2m.

Stephen Gosnay, general manager, explained: “We have a really strong set of clients here in the North East including Headlam Hall, Cordell and Harrison Packaging.

“Our plan for the next year is to build on this success and grow our workwear contract business.

The business works closely with Durham University and recently won supplier of the year from this client, as a result of its work, where for the last eight years, it has looked after all the Colleges’ laundry requirements for conferences, weddings and formal dinners,.
