Global fashion brand to establish flagship Liverpool ONE store
Global lifestyle and fashion brand GUESS is set to establish a new flagship store at Liverpool ONE.
The 5,000 sq ft shop on Paradise Street will be the first in the North West to stock the complete GUESS collection, which includes denim for men and women along with footwear, watches, sunglasses and other accessories.
The store will likewise sell the firm’s the GUESS kids and Marciano ranges.
Miles Dunnett of Grosvenor Europe, which owns Liverpool ONE, said: “The momentum behind Paradise Street continues with GUESS, an excellent new addition to Liverpool ONE’s line-up of international brands.
“Liverpool is highly regarded as one of the most fashion conscious cities in Europe and GUESS cements Liverpool ONE’s position as a prime retail and leisure destination.”
Guess Inc CEO Victor Herrero commented: “Liverpool ONE has a reputation for being very fashion forward and at the heart of a city that has a unique sense of style, both of which made it an obvious choice for a GUESS flagship.
“Confirming that decision was the growth on Paradise Street, where we are joining a collection of complementary brands that marks out Liverpool ONE as very distinctive, not just in the region, but the UK as a whole.”
He added: “I am extremely pleased by our performance in the UK and I am looking forward to further develop the brand with key strategic locations.”
Grosvenor’s deal with GUESS follows the signing of a number of other regional flagships on Paradise Street, including retailers Jack Wolfskin, Smiggle, Lindt and Urban Decay.
In total, international brands have snapped up close to 11,000 sq ft of fashion and lifestyle floor space along Paradise Street in recent months.
Additionally, it was announced earlier this month that sports fashion retailer JD plans to double the size of its Liverpool ONE presence by creating a 40,000 sq ft regional flagship on Paradise Street.
Property firms Cushman & Wakefield and Metis Real Estate Advisors represented Liverpool ONE on the deal with GUESS.
