New Salford base for growing call intelligence firm ResponseTap

Call intelligence firm ResponseTap has moved into a new grade-A office in Greater Manchester.

The company relocated its 85-strong team to Salford’s £10m Exchange Quays development, having outgrown its former premises at nearby Furness Quays.

Established in 2008, ResponseTap attributes millions of calls every month to online, offline and mobile marketing campaigns.

Its base at Exchange Quays comprises over 8,000 sq ft of workspace for up to 140 staff along with eight meeting rooms and breakout areas.

Manchester-based interiors firm Sheila Bird helped ResponseTap with the design and fit-out of the new office.

Ross Fobian, ResponseTap’s founder and chief exec, said: “After a sustained period of growth, with more and more businesses choosing to work with ResponseTap, we needed extra space.

“It is essential to us that we provide a first class environment for our talented team, and Exchange Quay more than meets our needs.”

Ross added: “We believe in doing things differently, from the tech we offer our clients, to the surroundings we provide for our staff. It’s all part of our brand proposition, which has proven crucial to our expansion to date.”

Run by founders Ross Fobian and CTO Richard Hamnett, ResponseTap supports more than 2,000 clients globally, including energy giant British Gas, insurance firm Aviva, automaker Mercedes Benz and Virgin.

The company is backed by investors Eden Ventures, Enterprise Ventures and Beringea.
