OmPrompt Appoints Tim Flinders as Chief Development Officer

Supply chain digitisation and automation specialist OmPrompt has appointed Tim Flinders to the key position of Chief Development Officer as the company prepares to roll out a new suite of solutions to increase levels of automation for retail suppliers and manufacturers.

In his new position as CDO Tim will be responsible for software development, R&D and QA teams ensuring the delivery of high quality robust solutions to customers. With over 18 years’ experience in the financial services, asset management, logistics and telecoms sectors, Tim joins from global financial services software company Eze where he was responsible for software development across three continents and where he played a key role in the company’s transition to Saas delivered products.

He holds a BEng in Electroacoustics and has a strong engineering background; he also holds several software certifications both in development and software delivery processes.

Commenting on his appointment Tim said: “I am looking forward to working as part of the OmPrompt senior management team as the company introduces new developments in supply chain automation such as machine learning and data visualisation. I’m excited to bring my breadth of experience to guide the research and development functions and continue to add value to our customers.”
