Get Carbon Smart - Business Breakfast Seminar in Derby
Derby Silk Mill Tuesday 7th February 2017 8.30am to 1pm
Join us at the ERDF Low Carbon and Energy Efficiency Project breakfast being held in the historic Derby Silk Mill. The event includes welcome remarks by Professor Paul Stewart Director of Innovation and Research Chair in Energy at the University of Derby.
The ERDF Low Carbon and Energy Efficiency Project is a collaborative initiative supported by funding from the ERDF and involving the University of Derby, Derby City and Derbyshire County Councils. The Project, based at the Institute for Innovation in Sustainable Engineering in Derby, aims to deliver a holistic and accessible programme of services to encourage and support SMEs in the D2N2 area to make carbon savings in a move towards a low carbon economy. The event will include;
- Presentations by Councillor Rawson of Derby City Council
- Programme information from the University of Derby and Derby City Council
- A case study presentation by Ian Briggs of Tecforce Ltd
There will also be plenty of time for networking and questions.
Eligible SMEs will have access to low carbon business capability assessments, a business grants scheme, a capability building programme and consultancy and support for low carbon product and process development.
