Manchester-headquartered NCC Group announces ‘crucial’ expansion in South East Asia

Cyber security and risk mitigation firm NCC Group has given its global footprint a boost with the launch of an office in South East Asia.

The Manchester-headquartered company’s new base in Singapore will seek to help enterprises in the region protect their brands, values and reputations against what it calls an ‘ever-evolving’ threat landscape.

NCC Group chief exec Rob Cotton believes the importance of IT security is growing in South East Asia as innovation continues to pick up pace.

He commented: “This is why it was crucial for us to open an office in this region.

“With customers now in ten countries across Asia Pacific, this will enable us to better service our customers throughout Singapore and the wider South East Asia region helping to revolutionise the way these organisations think about cyber security and risk mitigation.”

Further to its expansion in Singapore, NCC Group plans to increase its presence in Australia in response to a growing demand for cyber security services across the Asia-Pacific region.

Having outgrown its existing premises in Sydney, the firm will move into a larger base in the coming weeks. NCC Group will also open a Melbourne office later in 2017.

In 2015, the business signed a £93.5m deal to acquire Dutch cyber security firm Fox-IT Holding B.V.
