Lancashire signmaker HD Signology nabs £200k export deal
Signage and graphics business HD Signology has secured an export deal worth £200k.
The contracts, which are the Rawtenstall-based company’s first overseas deals, will see it supply around 12k pallet display units for use in garden centres and DIY stores all over Europe.
The point of sale units are being provided to E. Marker for its GroGreen product range and Fertira for its OSMO range.
The first batch, comprising 1,000 pallets for E. Marker, were shipped to Denmark at the end of January.
A further 600 for Fertira will be heading to Denmark and Belgium, and then across Europe, in the coming weeks.
HD Signology is part of Linemark Group and manufactures signage, banners, branded carpets, vehicle wrapping, stadium branding and digitally printed vinyl graphics.
Tony Bennett, the firm’s general manager, said: “The contracts signal an important step forward for the business in terms of exports.
“In the past few years we have worked on a number of high profile contracts, including work for the 2016 World Rugby U20 Championship, the London Six day competition and for the 2016 UCI World Track Cycling Championships.”
He added: “We are very excited about the future of the business and believe that this is just the start of things to come.”
The contracts were secured through E. Marker, which also forms part of Linemark Group.
