Multi-million pound Bayswater hotel acquired by Arianya Group
A Victorian hotel in the heart of Bayswater has been snapped up by the Arianya Group in a deal worth around £7m.
The Caring Hotel, which was sold by property agents Fleurets, has been acquired by the family-run business which adds another Bayswater hotel to their portfolio to join The Garden Court Hotel which it also operates in the area.
Sitting near to Hyde Park, the Caring Hotel encompasses 25 bedrooms and, according to Fleurets’ Andy Frisby who brokered the deal, had attracted significant interest since it came on to the market in mid-October.
He commented: “Fleurets received instructions to sell the Caring Hotel in mid-October. Interest levels were particularly strong right from the outset with over 10 separate parties viewing.
“Due to heavy last minute bidding a sale was agreed and contracts exchanged in mid December.
“Our client’s can now look forward to enjoying their retirement after many happy years at the Caring Hotel and we would like to wish Jayesh and the Arianya Group well as the hotel moves to the next generation of ownership.”
Mr Jayesh Popat of the Arianya Group added: “We are delighted to have acquired the Caring Hotel which will sit well within our estate and we are grateful to Andy Frisby and his hotels team at Fleurets.
“We look forward to enhancing the family spirit that has characterised this property during a long and successful period of ownership.”
