Leeds’ Southerns Group secures raft of new contracts with global corporations
Southerns Group, the Leeds-based FF&E and workspace interiors specialist, has had a flying start to 2017 after announcing a raft of new contract wins with several global corporations.
Microsoft, GE Capital, Lexmark International and BUPA have all signed up with Southerns, with the deals worth in excess of a seven figure sum.
The firm already numbers many blue-chip organisations such as Carillion, Bunzl and multiple universities on its client roster.
CEO Andy Kendall-Jones said: “Six months into our financial year, we hit our target of a £45m turnover. So 2017 looks to be shaping up as a bumper year for the business.”
The Southerns Group, which last year benefited from a significant investment from Clipper Logistics chairman Steve Parkin, comprises six businesses, including Southerns Office Interiors Limited located in Leeds and Bolton, Broadstock Office Furniture Limited in Macclesfield, and Ralph Capper Interiors Limited and SpaceInvader, both located in Manchester.
The Group, which now employs around 240 staff, is on target to reach a £200m turnover by 2022.
