20 jobs created as Manchester’s Degree 53 launches new gaming division
Digital agency Degree 53 is creating a raft of jobs with the launch of a gaming division.
The Manchester-based firm’s new arm, Degree 53 Gaming, will focus on providing gambling companies with design services and bespoke technology.
To support the expansion, the business is recruiting for over 20 roles, including senior front end developer, automation tester, solution architect, senior project manager and head of QA.
Degree 53’s management team decided to establish a separate gaming division to strengthen the firm’s position as a provider of online gambling technology.
MD Andrew Daniels said: “The gambling industry has always been one of our core sectors.
“However, over the past year, the work has become increasingly specialised and we feel the time is right to separate that service from the main agency.”
He continued: “This is why we’ve decided to create a new gaming division and recruit more talented team members.
“We’re looking to fill a number of technical and creative roles that will help us drive this expansion and the new division. This way, we’ll be able to scale our services and gaming proposition in the future.”
