Luxury living environment to open doors to public
luxury Chorley living environment is engaging in the local community by opening its doors to the public.
The Grange, based in the award winning Buckshaw Retirement Village, is set to open its doors on Wednesday February 22, from 2-4pm, when visitors can take a look around its luxury retirement apartments, communal areas and gardens.
Phil Hill, director at Buckshaw Retirement Village said: “We want to integrate with the local community as much as possible, and we hope that by hosting the open day we can continue to build links with local people, organisations and businesses.
“We are very much looking forward to welcoming the community to The Grange and showcasing our excellent facilities. We are proud of the environment we have created and of the family we have built here.”
Teas, coffees and homemade cakes will be on offer for those who attend the open day. Staff will also be on hand to answer any questions for those who are interested in The Grange, which provides all-inclusive living for people over the age of 55 or those who are registered disabled, and its services.
Phil continued: “The purpose of The Grange is to allow older people to maintain their independence, enjoy a healthy and happy lifestyle in a fantastic and supportive environment. Our highly dedicated team of experienced chefs, activity and wellness coordinators, management and domestic staff provide an unrivalled quality of life for our guests.”
The Grange has also recently launched a new short-stay care package, which will allow visitors to stay at for four weeks or more. Individuals or couples can choose from a range of options including a one bedroom or studio apartment, complete with kitchen, bathroom suite and furniture.
The Grange offers residents three freshly prepared meals every day, a range of as many refreshments as they please and a daily programme of activities. Those who need additional care can choose an extra package to best meet their needs following a full professional assessment. Within the rental fee tenants can also enjoy a specialist gym area, lounge, restaurant with table service, bowling green, sensory gardens and unlimited activities of their choice.
Staff will be available throughout the open afternoon, and on hand for any questions about The Grange and the range of packages on offer. Local organisations and professionals including Age UK, local GPs and Millercare mobility aids will be in attendance on the day.
