£1m sales milestone for Leeds-based Ticket Arena
Ticketing firm Ticket Arena has hit a seven-figure milestone in sales following the rollout of its Payment Plan service.
Launched just a year ago, the offer has pulled in £1m for the Leeds-headquartered firm.
Ticket Arena’s Payment Plan is accessed through its online ticketing platform Event Genius and allows customers to settle their ticket purchases across installments.
In 2016, the average monthly payment taken through Payment Plan events was £36.75.
The goal, MD Reshad Hossenally explained, is to allow event organisers to increase ticket sales while helping consumers spread the cost.
Reshad said: “We designed Payment Plan to help festival organisers capitalise on consumer interest in their event, no matter when they announce their lineup.
“With more choice and cost pressures than ever, by offering potential customers a flexible option you’ll only be improving your service.”
He added: “The customer wins and you win, which is just what we want to see.”
