Nokia 3310 Reboot & Launch at MWC17
Nokia is making a comeback with a bang with its wide range of devices at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017. In this event, HMD, the Finnish company has made an announcement of the Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 android-based smartphones for global markets on Sunday at MWC in Barcelona. During the event, the company also launched a new Nokia 3310, a feature phone returned.
Nokia 3310 at a Glance
The coloured-screen phone relies on 2.5G connectivity and is powered by the S30+ operating system. The phone comes with a 2.5MP camera on the rear and you will also get to see the modern version of the classic game, Snake pre-loaded. The internet browsing can be done through the Opera mini browser, which is said to be pre-loaded onto the device. Furthermore, it has talktime of 22 hours standby time of 1 month and there is also a classic Nokia ringtone which everyone knows. Its custom designed user interface gives a fresh look to a classic. Moreover, it is made to fit your style and comes in four distinct colors such as Yellow, warm red, (with gloss finish), Grey and Dark Blue (with matte finish). The price of the device is Euros 49 and thus, it can be said that it is going to be very cheap.
Taking a Glimpse of Nokia 6, 5 and 3 Android Phones
All these mobile phones will be running the latest version of Google’sAndroid mobile operating system. This means that phones will get monthly security updates and are equipped with Google Assistant. Nokia 6 which was a China-exclusive until now is an all metal smartphone with chamfered edges and curved 2.5D Gorilla glass on the front. In addition, there is also a physical home button on the front and also features a fingerprint scanner. There is also a standard Micro USB 2.0 port. On the other hand, hardware specifications are 5.5 inch 1080p display, a qualcomm snapdragon 430 processor clubbed with 4gigs of RAM. 16-megapixel camera on the rear with f/2.0 aperture, whereas the front camera is 8 megapixel. The phone comes with dual amplifiers and greatly supports Dolby Atmos sound technology. Last but not the least, it is backed by a 3,000mAh battery.
On the other hand, the Nokia 3 and the Nokia 5 are considered as the toned down versions of the Nokia 6. The Nokia 5 is a 5.2 inch phone and comes with a full-metal body and a front-mounted fingerprint scanner. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor and gets 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory which can be expanded. Lastly, it features a 13-megapixel rear camera and 8-megapixel front camera.
Nokia 3 features a 5-inch screen and features a poly carbonate body with an aluminum frame and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT 6737 with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory, which can also be expanded. In addition, there is 8-megapixel camera both on the front and back. As per HMD Global, these mobile phones will run a vanilla version of Android Nougat and will be highly secure. These phones will launch in India, Middle East, Asia Pacific, Europe and Africa in Q2 2017.
