UK Digital Strategy ‘Music to tech firms’ ears’
On Wednesday the UK Government set out its new digital strategy which backed the development of skills, infrastructure and innovation to make post-Brexit Britain a world-leading digital economy.
This announcement will come as ‘music to the ears’ of UK tech firms as they strive for better education and funding in the UK sector according to Marianne Calder, VP EMEA, at technology vendor, Puppet. She commented:
“Keeping up with digital transformation is crucial for organisations now more than ever before. Wednesday’s announcement around the new digital strategy will take Britain on a new journey of boosting digital businesses and trailing new technologies is music to the ears of technology companies. Education is key to ensuring this will stand the test of time as technology evolves and moves through the advancements. Take automation as an example, this can help bridge the gap and push organisations faster into the future by expediting processes and building efficiency. We can certainly be filled with confidence that the government is doing everything in their power to provide a solid foundation for the future of the digital world.”
