Big-name speakers lined up for first-ever Sage Summit London

UK accounting and payroll software company Sage has lined-up some big name speakers for what it claims will be one Europe’s biggest business conventions at the ExCel centre this April.

The FTSE100 business is bringing its Sage Summit event to London for the first time this year, on the back of its successful event in Chicago in 2016.

More than 5,000 of the UK’s small, medium and enterprise businesses will have a presence on the two-day event which takes place on the 5 and 6 April, with keynote speakers, masterclasses and panel debates covering topics such as the latest technological innovations and business advice.

Last year’s event in Chicago saw the Newcastle-based business attract the likes of Sir Richard Branson and Gwyneth Paltrow for its gathering of entrepeneurs and small businesses in the US city.

For this year’s programme, the technology company has also put together a star-studded line-up of headline speakers who will be imparting their wisdom to attendees over the two days, including LastMinute.com Co-Founder, Martha Lane Fox, Dragons’ Den investor Deborah Meaden, Coffee Republic Founder Sahar Hashemi and SBTV entrepreneur Jamal Edwards.

Jacqueline de Rojas, who is Managing Director of UK & Ireland – Northern Europe at Sage and who will be hosting the event, commented: “We take our role as a champion of businesses seriously, and this is what Sage Summit London is all about; giving businesses a voice that connects them to the government, providing intuitive technology that helps them overcome their biggest barriers and connecting them to mentors they can collaborate with.

“Our event will also showcase how the UK is the best place to start and run a business and how we have some of the best tech talent the world has to offer.”
