Liverpool law firm Pilkington Shaw strengthens offering with new acquisition
Liverpool-based law firm Pilkington Shaw has acquired Southport-based solicitors Bromiley Holcroft.
This acquisition reportedly comes during an important time for Pilkington Shaw, following a recent move to new premises in Liverpool’s city centre.
The business and personal litigation firm, which employs 20 staff from its head office within Castle Chambers on Castle Street, specialises in handling cavity wall insulation (CWI) claims.
Acquiring Bromiley Holcroft Ltd, which trades as Magnus Legal, promises to be an exciting one for Pilkington Shaw, according to Mike Pilkington, director of Pilkington Shaw.
He explained: “Our office move and the acquisition of Bromiley Holcroft will help us connect with clients both in the North West and across the country.
“We recently won a major CWI settlement for a client in the South West and we hope to strengthen and expand our operations in this field going forward.”
