Winning attraction as Candidate Source lands recruitment title

Helping recruitment agencies find the right person has helped a West Midlands online advertising agency secure a major industry title.

Candidate Source, which announced a record year in 2016, beat off the challenge of a number of its rivals to be named as ‘Candidate Attraction’ company of the year at the first ever Recruitment International (RI) Supplier Awards.

The firm impressed with its knowledge, customer service and its relationships with the job boards, ensuring clients get the best possible placements and value for money.

It was also praised for its creative adverts and a string of innovations, including Emergency Candidate Boosts and the introduction of client branded ads.

Michelle Davies, Managing Director, was delighted with the ‘win’: “This is the first time we’ve entered a competition like this so to win an award is fantastic, especially when you know you have been selected by recruitment agencies who value the service you provide.

“That’s a really good feeling and underlines what we are doing is working and the innovation we bring to the market is delivering exactly what our clients want…the best candidate for the position.”

She continued: “We will be able to proudly display the RI ‘winner’ logo on all of our marketing material and will certainly be using this accolade to try to win new work, not to mention cement long-standing relationships.”

Candidate Source was set up by Michelle in 2010 after she spotted a gap in the marketplace for a resource that would provide job board support to recruitment firms across the UK.

In just six years, the Birmingham-born entrepreneur has built a client base that features the likes of Forces Recruitment Services, Hart Recruitment, Innovation Recruitment, Kate & Co and Pertemps.

The firm works across all sectors and has significant expertise in candidate attraction, media buying and content creation.

It has invested more than £30,000 over the last twelve months on revamping its website (www.candidatesource.uk.com) and executing an exciting new marketing campaign aimed at highlighting the power of digital advertising.

Michelle concluded: “A lot of our success comes from getting under the skin of our clients and building long-term relationships so we become a trusted advisor.

“Our experts have the best knowledge of all the available job boards and which ones work best for each position. We’ll then sit down and develop the content with the customer, as well as giving them access to specialist services, such as the Emergency Candidate Boost.

“Winning the RI Supplier Award is a fantastic start to 2017, a year where we hope to pass £3m in fees for the first time in our history.”
