New North West base for Foster Cares
PATRIZIA UK, the manager of Birchwood Park, Warrington, has welcomed its newest occupier, Foster Cares Ltd, the independent fostering agency covering the North of England.
Foster Cares Ltd joins Birchwood Park’s Chadwick House having outgrown its previous base in Manchester city centre and completing the search for a new North West office that boasts excellent connectivity to the surrounding region.
The agency provides high quality foster carers that can meet the needs of children and young people with very specific placement requirements, including short term, long term, parent and child, respite, bridging and remand.
Commenting on the move, Ann Woods, Team Manager at Foster Cares Ltd, said: “The nature of our work means it is vital that we are able to get to a range of locations across the North West easily and efficiently. Birchwood Park’s central location in the region and proximity to the M62/M6 motorway interchange makes it a perfect fit for us as we continue to expand our services.
“The whole team is really excited about the move and cannot wait to become involved and be part of the community both at Birchwood and in the wider area of Warrington. We were impressed by the range of amenities and surrounding environment from the moment we stepped onto the park and I have no doubt that this will play a huge part in the continued happiness and wellbeing of our staff.”
Martin O’Rourke, Commercial Director at Birchwood Park, added: “Foster Cares Ltd provides vital support to young people across the region, so when the agency was looking for a new office in the heart of the North West we were thrilled to help find a space to fit its needs.
“At Birchwood Park, we’ve invested a lot in the park’s connectivity and transport links, and it is encouraging to now see this proving a real draw for new occupiers.”
