Mediaworks wins Digital & Social Media Award
Digital marketing agency Mediaworks took home the Digital & Social Media Award at the 15th annual North East Business Awards.
Shortlisted in the Northumberland and Tyneside category, the award recognises the region’s companies who have used ICT and digital to enhance their business. Mediaworks won as a result of their continued commitment to digital, harnessing its potential to benefit both their own business and their clients’.
The award also recognises the agency’s outstanding work creating the Great North Snowdogs trail app, which helped unite the region through 2016’s mass-participation art event.
Mediaworks, along with the other winners from the Northumberland and Tyneside heat, will go through to the regional final with the winners from the upcoming Teeside and Durham, Sunderland and South Tyneside heats. The grand final takes place on April 27th at Hardwick Hall Hotel, Sedgefield.
Speaking of their award success, Mediaworks’ Managing Director Brett Jacobson said: “The awards recognise some of the regions’ most forward-thinking, innovative companies, so winning the Digital & Social Media Award is a fantastic achievement. We’re looking forward to the final and wish the other competitors the very best of luck.”
