Doncaster contractor launches new base in north Sheffield’s Fox Valley
A Doncaster-based mechanical and electrical contractor has expanded with the launch of a new office at Fox Valley in north Sheffield.
Mechanical Facilities Limited (MechFS) now operates out of two bases in South Yorkshire, with the Fox Valley office operating alongside an office in Sollihull.
The family-run business, which employs 90 people across the UK, was founded ten years ago and has clients including Travelodge, Hilton and Aldi.
Earlier this month the MechFS team announced it had secured more than £27m in new business at the beginning of 2017.
The company specialises in providing tailored mechanical and electrical engineered solutions for a wide range of sectors including retail, distribution, public sector and commercial.
Two new members of staff have been taken on with the office expansion.
The company was one of the contractors at the new Fox Valley development which opened in June 2016. MechFS worked on Sandersons Boutique Department Store, Full Gas Bikes and Dransfield House where their new office is now based.
Paul Firch, managing director at MechFS, said: “We are delighted to be part of this fantastic regeneration project in north Sheffield especially having worked on the Fox Valley development during the construction and fit out stage.”
Dave Hale, development surveyor at Dransfield Properties, which owns and manages Fox Valley, added: “We are really pleased to be able to welcome another of our region’s growing companies to Fox Valley.
“We wish the MechFS team all the very best in their new premises here at Fox Valley.”
