Leeds content agency Brawl makes £30k investment to 'ensure the latest technology is available'

Brawl, the Leeds-based content agency, has invested £30k in upgrading its sound studio and facilities.

Last year, the studio assisted in many projects including Downton Abbey, Victoria, The One Show, feature film Lies We Tell, and commercials for Argos, Asda and Morrisons.

The £30k investment will enable the agency to meet the growing demands of its international client base and provide state-of-the-art facilities to the digital community.

Martin Jones, managing director of Brawl, said: “We have seen a big spike in demand for our studio facilities, both from our own rapidly expanding client base in the UK and overseas, and from the thriving media community in Yorkshire. The new investment will ensure the latest technology is available.”

The new system is capable of complete programme and commercials dubbing - including ADR, remote sync via Source Connect/ISDN and 5.1 surround sound.

Pro Tools 12 and Avid mixing & control hardware are at the centre of the new set-up, with the new engine allowing sessions to run infinite tracks and speeds up editing.

A new addition to the suite is an array of sound-sculpting tools which will compliment the music studio.

Brawl recently announced it had doubled its team in London to support growth plans.

The agency continues to benefit from international expansion, working with clients ranging from Depuy to 888.com, across Denmark, Germany, Spain, Australia, USA, Israel, Italy, Romania and France.
